The Marseille Conventions and Events Office is an integrated service within the Tourist and Convention Office.

It participates fully in the dynamics of promotion, attractiveness and influence of the city.

It is a real interface between event organizers, institutions, economic development agencies, clusters, research centers, universities and local professionals.

The Provence Côte d’Azur Events Regional Convention Bureau is an association under the 1901 law which, since August 2008, has brought together the main players in business tourism in the South East.

It is part of the general policy of regional hubs initiated by the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur Regional Council, which aims to bring together companies from the same sector of activity by encouraging them to cooperate.

Thus, to provide more consistency, the four founding members created five colleges within Provence Côte d’Azur Events. These colleges ensure optimal representation of all the professional sectors concerned by the business and congress tourism sector in the region.

The CCI Marseille Provence, the City of Marseille and the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille joined forces in 1996 within the Club de la Croisière Marseille Provence to promote the development of cruising in Marseille in the spirit of a commercial centre.

The association works daily to consolidate and develop the cruise business in Marseille. Multiple communication and promotional actions are thus carried out in parallel with actions to improve reception and follow-up on evaluations.
