Founded in the 5th century, Saint-Victor Abbey is a beautiful building classified as a historical monument.

A visit to the abbey plunges you into the religious past that has shaped the history of Marseille. The crypt contains priceless vestiges of early Christian art. Several sarcophagi dating from the end of the 4th century can be admired.

The fortified church on the south bank of the Old Port holds many treasures.
