Created in Marseille in 2003, the bus company « Open Tour » changed its name on 28 April 2017 to Colorbüs.
In 2016, Marie-Éva, Nicolas and Bertrand Swaton, Eurosud Swaton Assurances, joined forces with Julien Guedj, founder of the Hello Shuttle company, to take over Open Tour and try to develop a product that is highly appreciated by cruise lines with little time to visit Marseille.
Wishing to share the treasures of the Phocaean city with as many people as possible, they launched an innovative tourist bus offer: Colorbüs!
The choice was made for very colourful and easily identifiable buses with a frequency of 20 to 30 minutes between each bus and a service 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm.

The Colorbüs concept
Always open double-deck buses where passengers can get on and off as they please to visit a neighbourhood or monument and then take a next bus to continue their journey.
In May 2019, Colorbüs opened a new circuit, the blue line, dedicated to the southern districts of Marseille, including the Stade Vélodrome, Le Corbusier, the Escale Borély and the Prado beaches and the Vallon des Auffes.
Throughout the 2 circuits, original comments are broadcast using individual headphones. Each passenger has a selector that allows them to choose the language of their choice: French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, Chinese or Japanese.
Your ticket allows you to get on and off freely at all stops to visit Marseille, its monuments, its beaches or to stroll quietly.
