The Prefecture of Marseille: a meeting between art and architecture

The prefecture of Marseille is an emblematic building. Even today, the Hôtel de Préfecture remains one of the most beautiful buildings of the Third Republic.
During the Heritage Days, you can discover from the inside the decoration and its history, the construction of which began in 1862 and ended in 1866. This building is one of the most beautiful examples of Second Empire architecture in Marseille, listed on the supplementary list of historic monuments.

The Velodrome Stadium: a great temple of football

A symbol of Marseille’s culture, the theatre of the most beautiful victories of the Marseille Olympics, the Stade Vélodrome is the place of all passions, all encounters, all celebrations and all generations.
